Bio:
I was born in Monroe, Louisiana. We moved to San Antonio, Texas where I eventually studied
voice and guitar. I've been writing songs since I was sixteen. The writing comes very easy, the music, not so
much. I eventually moved to Minneapolis, MN and continued, voice and switched to piano and played in an ensemble band
at Westbank School of Music. I also started making demos with numerous producers until I was finally signed by Dave
Moody of Lamon Records. I've written all my songs on my CD, " Dancing Dark Delilah" and most of the music
except for where stated on the Lyrics page.
This
CD is for those who haven't had it so easy in life and, I'm sure the words speak for themselves if you take the time to read
them. I wrote the title song after watching the movie, Who is the Black Dahlia? with Lucie Arnaz. I am not a stripper,
nor ever wanted to be or could be one; and am not promoting it in any way.
That's the whole point of
the song. Ivy Raye
